Board of Appeals and Adjustments (BOAA)
The Board of Appeals and Adjustments (BOAA) is composed of 7 members appointed by Mayor and Council. Each member of the BOAA serves a period of three years. The BOAA has the powers to hear and decide variances and to hear appeals on decisions of the Planning and Zoning Department. The BOAA meets at 2:00 p.m., on the third Tuesday of each month. All meetings are held in Council Chambers at 2194 Emory Street, NW.
