Welcome to the City of Covington's Planning and Zoning Department
The City of Covington's Planning and Zoning Department works to improve and maintain the quality of life for all of Covington’s residents by protecting our natural environment and promoting health, safety and welfare through land use regulation and comprehensive planning.
Planning and Zoning is responsible for reviewing, permitting, licensing and inspecting all construction within the Covington city limits. In doing so, the Department enforces all relevant codes and ordinances.
