Covington Cycling Information
With its broad, tree-lined antebellum avenues and an abundance of quiet, scenic roadways through pastoral farm land, Covington is a popular destination for bicycle riders from across the southeast. And, that is why over 1,100 cyclists come to town on the first Saturday of each August to ride in the annual Covington Century Bike Ride to Benefit Project Adventure Kids.

Covington Community Bike Ride
At 3:00 PM on the 1st Sunday of the month, May through October, cyclists departing from Newton County's Historic Courthouse in Downtown Covington on the Covington Community Bike Ride.
The ride is designed for all ages and abilities. Participating cyclists must wear a helmet and sign a Liability Waiver before departing on the ride.
The ride is hosted by Main Street Covington, Covington/Newton Regional Visitors Information Center, Covington Conyers Cycling Club and Newton Recreation Commission.
