The governing body of the City of Covington is the city council. This council consists of six council  members and a mayor. The city council's regularly scheduled meetings are on the first and third Mondays of  each month. Council meetings are held in the Council Room, inside City Hall, at 7:30 p.m. The public is  invited to attend any and all council meetings.
