Board of Appeals and Adjustments (BOAA)
The Board of Appeals and Adjustments (BOAA) is composed of at least five and no more than to nine members appointed by Mayor and Council. Each member of the BOAA serves a period of three years. The BOAA has the powers to hear and decide variances and to hear appeals on decisions of the Planning and Zoning Department. The BOAA meets at 2:00 p.m., on the third Tuesday of each month as needed. All meetings are held in Planning & Zoning conference room at 2116 Stallings Street.
