The purpose of the Planning Commission is to review and make recommendations to Mayor and Council on proposed amendments to the comprehensive plan, zoning ordinance, official zoning map, and applications for special use permits. CPC meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
Board of Appeals & Adjustments (BOAA) Public Hearing
Tuesday, September 15, 2026 | 6:00 pm
The BOAA has the powers to hear and decide variances and to hear appeals on decisions of the Planning and Development Department. Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Monday, September 21, 2026 | 6:30 pm
City Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month unless otherwise scheduled due to a holiday. There will only be one council meeting in July & December 2026. The first meeting of September 2026 will be held on September 1.

The HPC makes recommendations to Mayor and Council on specific places, sites, districts, buildings and structures to be designated by ordinance as historic properties or historic districts.
