The City of Covington provides electric, gas, water and sewer, garbage collection and stormwater services to customers in our jurisdiction. The customer service department strives to provide excellent customer service to all of  our customers.

 

 

Financial processing fees are incurred by the customer (credit card/debit card payments, ACH set up through InvoiceCloud, payment processing companies). There are bill payment options that do not incur fees. If you select the button above, you can download the City's Direct Pay Authorization form. Fill it out and bring it into City Hall with a voided check to set up Direct Pay which does not incur financial transaction processing fees.

Transaction Fee Effective 12/16/24:

  • Credit Card: 2.95% ($1.95 minimum)
  • ACH/EFT: $1.95
  • IVR phone: Additional $0.95 for payment methods listed above

 

What this means for current customers:

If you are currently registered for services, you will need to re-register with the new platform for online account access once available. We will update you on how to access the new payment service when the system is operational.

You’ll soon be able to enjoy the convenience of setting up automatic payments, enrolling in e-billing, getting email payment reminders, and more.

  • On the go? Use Pay by Text to get text notifications about your bill and have the option to pay through text message with your default payment method

Prefer the phone? You'll be able to use your landline or mobile device to make a payment using our secure, 24/7 automated Pay by Phone feature.
